The CJKI English-Japanese Dictionary covers about 82,000 headwords of general vocabulary and we have begun a process of major expansion. The dictionary includes part-of-speech codes as well as other grammatical/phonological data upon request. Optimized for the convenience of users of electronic dictionaries and online translation tools, it has just the right amount of detail: enough equivalents to give an in-depth understanding, yet short enough not to clutter up the screen. This dictionary is being used in such well-known, revolutionary translation tools like Babylon and Quicktionary, as well as on various mobile platforms around the world including TangoTown in Japan and Australia.

The sister edition, The CJKI Japanese-English Dictionary, has some 110,000 and is being used in various well known translation tools, especially on mobile platforms. We also maintain comprehensive English-Japanese bidirectional dictionaries of over one million technical terms in twenty domains, and a one million-entry database of proper nouns.
